U12 Tigers win the plate 2021-22!
What a day this turned out to be. Having being promoted in the first season of competitive football and just missed out on the league title, the Wboro U12 Tigers got through to the Plate Final. There was added spice to the final as we were up against the league winners and the team that beat us narrowly home and away by 1 goal. Did that effect this team - no way! Controlling the game from start to finish, limiting the opposition to long range chances - and then to top it all off to score the winner in the final minute, 1-0!
What a dream come true for this team that has only been together for 3 seasons. I have to mention the wonderful and second to none family support we have, they always push the team in a positive manner, no matter what the score is, they all deserved this as much as the players. Its was mentioned not only by some of our club officials at the game, but also by other teams at the finals that the celebrations at the end were so emotional to the point of choking up to tears.
It really was one of those days that goes down in history for this team and that cannot ever be taken away - COME ON YOU TIGERS!

Wboro Town U14s - Win the League 2017-18. The U14s go all season just losing one game and being promoted to Division 1 next season.
11/07/17 Registration night, a great success!
Registration night was a great success this year, thanks to all the parents and players that came along and of course to Barry (Chairman), Angeline (Secretary), Steve (Club Mentor) and all the coaches for making it a success. We had some great feedback from parents, one in particular that took the time to update his blog with his review. Thank you to Mr Ingram, who's lad Josh plays for the U15s this coming season 2017-18.

Huge congrats again to Jason Memoli's team for winning the U12s Division 2 Season 2016-17. Well done to all the players & coaches and another trophy well celebrated, what a great season!

Is there anything to stop the Youth section? Huge congratulations to Jason Memoli's U12 team and coaches for Winning the Weekly Rovers Tournament today in their age group. Surely we are going to have to invest into a trophy cabinet soon!!

A massive well done to the U12s for becoming 'Runners Up' in two tournaments recently. Both at the Rugby & Milton Keynes Tournaments. Great going to all the players and coaches.

02/07/17 U11 Tigers 'Runners Up' in the Higham Tournament!
The good news just keeps on coming for the Youth Section! Well done to the U11 Tigers who were 'Runners Up' in the Higham Tournament today. Beating one of the best U11 teams in the county to reach the final! A massive congratulations on this achievement!
01/07/17 U10 Tigers 'Runners Up' in the Higham Tournament!
Well done to the the U10 Tigers for going all the way and being 'Runners Up' in their first 9v9 Tournament, a great achievement as these lads transition to the 9v9 format!
04/06/17 U9s Win the Vicarage Farm Tournament 2017
The journey was; won 2, drew 2 and lost 1 in the group stages, won the semi-final on penalties and won the final 3-0!
Well done Mike and all the U9 team! I'm not sure who has the bigger grin Mike or the players!!Great Achievement!
13/05/17 U13s win the League Plate!
Congratulations to all the boys, coachs and families for the U13s who won the league plate final. The game itself was worthy of a cup final. Wellingborough having the best of the first half which ended 0-0. The second half was not for the faint hearted. Wellingborough going 1-0 up with the Magpies then stepping up to go in front 2-1. With 13 minutes to go Wellingborough had the character to equalise and get the winner in the last 5 minutes to go on and win the final. Was a close game, but the plate was deservedly with Wellingborough at the final whistle. Well done U13 dough boys!

Format: Friendly matches on main and mini soccer pitches followed by team trophies / presentations.
Come and support your local Youth teams at the Dog & Duck. All families are welcome to come and enjoy the day and see some future stars!!
